Bannerghatta National Park is a wildlife sanctuary 22 kilometers to the south of Bangalore. The green space covers an area of 65,000 acres. It was established in 1970 and named a national park in 1974. It is rich in animals, birds, and plants and is a popular day trip for city folk.

The ticket price at Bannerghatta National Park is Rs. 80 for adults and Rs. 40 for children 6 to 12 years. These also cover the Bannerghatta Zoo. The timings for the park are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is open from Wednesdays to Mondays, with Tuesdays off. Park tickets are available at the location.
