Bangalore Urban is a well-known neighbourhood district in Karnataka, which has famous residential and commercial spots. The district has a total of 4 taluks, 387 villages, and 243 (BBMP) wards.

Bangalore Urban is one of the most popular districts out of 31 districts of Karnataka state, covering 2,196 square metres. The last census, 2011, shows that the area has 9.6 million, ranking as one of the top capital cities of the state. This capital city has the highest population ever in Karnataka, with over 4,381 per sq metre due to its highest employment. Not only Karnataka residents, but people from all over the state are migrating to Bangalore.

• Yelahanka to Hebbal distance is 36 minutes of travel, and the distance is 21 km via Bellary to Bangalore road.
• Jayanagar to MG Road is the heart of Bangalore Urban, which is more convenient for locating the MG road. It is just a distance of 25 minutes and 6.9 km in total length, but it will connect most of the area via Residency Rd.

Bangalore Urban is facing the highest-ever real estate prices in Karnataka. As of 2025, the area has seen up to a 32 per cent hike in residential property prices. Also, some of the most iconic taluks like East Bangalore and South are experiencing a hike in demand for rental property, up to a 6% yearly rise. As of now, urban Bangalore apartments start from Rs 11,000 onwards, and plot prices will be from Rs 8,000.
